Arte y Pasión, in conjunction with Brick at Blue Star is proud to present MERCURIA, in honor of DreamWeek on Thursday Jan 27 at 8pm at the Brick at Blue Star Arts Complex. MERCURIA is the story of a woman who is born into conditions and expectations. She fulfills them in order to secure the love of those around her. Deep inside, she has a dream. In the course of her life’s efforts, she learns that pursuit of her dreams will go directly against what is expected of her. Over and over again, she is presented with the choice: receive conditional love, or pursue her dream. MERCURIA tells the story of how she faces this choice.
This production is an exploration in poetry, music and movement; featuring Poet Laureate Andrea Vocab Sanderson, Genevieve Obregon, Randy Cordero, and Tamara Adira.
